MicroChip The Desert is a program to MicroChip every Companion Animal in the Coachella Valley. This program was initiated in 1999 and interest was revived in 2005 by a group of local residents and animal welfare organizations. In it's current format this WEB Site is setup for research. After the implementation of the program it is intended to act as a clearing house for information and news regarding things like, Costs of MicroChipping, Licensing, Low-Cost Chipping Clinics, Participating Veterinarians, etc. If you are interested in working on this project or have information to contribute please contact: chip@microchipthedesert.com
